La Costa Glen is a premier senior living community that blends independent living with exceptional amenities across a lush, park-like setting. In collaboration with The Weitz Company, Baker Electric served as the electrical subcontractor for the new construction of a 111,687-square-foot, three-story Independent Living Apartment Building, comprising 81 residential units, a 9,003-square-foot Central Plant, and 14,736 square feet of parking garage and carports.
As part of the larger 25-acre first phase development, La Costa Glen also includes 54 villas and 259 apartment homes, along with a clubhouse and recreational center designed to enrich residents' quality of life. The clubhouse features a formal and private dining room, lounge, library, computer lab, billiards, and card rooms. The adjacent recreational center offers an auditorium, fitness facility, indoor spa and pool, massage room, ceramics lab, photographic dark room, and arts and crafts studio.
Beyond the built environment, La Costa Glen is surrounded by 200 acres of preserved natural space, providing access to serene walking trails, gardens, a koi pond, lake, putting green, and courts for croquet, bocce ball, and horseshoes—offering a tranquil yet active lifestyle for residents.
