Project Description

Phase II includes 28,000 square feet of new construction and historic renovation to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency.

Key elements include an 11,000 SF baggage claim building with two new sloped plate carousels and weather protection, and a 17,000 SF ticketing building featuring check-in kiosks, airline offices, pre-security restrooms, and 1,000 SF of pre-security concessions and BSO spaces. The project also includes the renovation and recommissioning of the historic 1941 terminal, restoring its original architectural design with window repairs, lighting and HVAC upgrades, restroom improvements, and envelope enhancements.

The project also relocates rental car services to the historic terminal’s first floor, supporting improved passenger flow and preserving the airport’s unique architectural heritage.
