Baker Electric led the design, development, installation, and performance management of a large-scale exterior lighting retrofit across approximately 384,000 square feet at California State University San Bernardino and its Palm Desert Campus.

The César E. Chávez Campus of the San Diego Community College District is a landmark project located in the heart of Barrio Logan, designed to deliver accessible, high-quality continuing education to the surrounding community. This transformative development features a 67,924-square-foot, three-story instructional building and a 70,000-square-foot, five-level above-grade parking structure, with additional underground parking for 149 vehicles and a detached garage offering 320 more spaces.

The College Square Renovation project revitalized a 19,000-square-foot, two-story steel-framed and stucco building located at College Avenue and Paseo, near San Diego State University (SDSU). Originally constructed in the 1980s and owned by Aztec Shops, the building underwent a comprehensive renovation to resolve significant structural issues and modernize all building systems.

The Saddleback@ATEP project is a new 50,000-square-foot, single-story instructional complex comprising two specialized buildings that will house Saddleback College’s Culinary Arts and Advanced Transportation programs. Designed with sustainability and student engagement in mind, the campus will serve as a modern hub for hands-on learning, innovation, and community connection.

The new 85,000-square-foot, two-story Student Union at Southwestern College is a transformative project designed to become the vibrant heart of campus life. Replacing the existing Student Union and Cafeteria buildings (66A, 67A), the facility will consolidate student-centered services and spaces into a dynamic, centralized location.
